Optimum Communications, Fluence Energy, Virgin Galactic And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher Today

U.S. stocks traded lower during today's session, with the Dow falling more than 65 points on Monday. However, several technology, energy, and aerospace stocks posted notable gains.

Shares of Optimum Communications Services Inc. (NYSE:OPTU) rose sharply to lead the list of top percentage gainers.  The company announced a tender offer to buy back up to 120 million of its shares at $2.50 per share.

The buyback represents about 42.5% of the issued and outstanding shares of Class A Common Stock as of May 27, 2026. The tender offer will expire at 5:00 pm (ET) on June 30, 2026.

Optimum Communications Services surged 93.71% to $1.27 on Monday.

  • Fluence Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:FLNC) jumped 34.58% to $25.41.
  • Virgin Galactic Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:SPCE) gained 28.80% to $7.96, continuing the strong upward momentum from late last week. Stock market traders are rapidly accumulating positions in the space tourism pioneer, driven by several high-profile catalysts.
  • The Elmet Group Holdings Limited (NASDAQ:ELMT) climbed 25.0% to $19.10. The company reported strong first quarter earnings, with revenue up 20.7% to $56 million.
  • Taylor Morrison Home Corporation (NYSE:TMHC) advanced 22.46% to $71.64, following the announcement that Berkshire Hathaway has agreed to acquire the company in a $6.8 billion deal.
  • Edgewise Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:EWTX) rose 14.72% to $39.19, after the company announced the sale of its muscular dystrophy business to Servier for $2.65 billion.
  • Arm Holdings plc (NASDAQ:ARM) gained 13.63% to $401.47, after Nvidia unveiled its new RTX Spark chip, based on Arm Holdings' designs.
  • Replimune Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:REPL) climbed 13.0% to $9.82. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) prioritized the resubmission of the company's experimental advanced melanoma drug, RP1.
  • AirJoule Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ:AIRJ) advanced 12.9% to $5.07.
  • Asana, Inc. (NYSE:ASAN) rose 12.85% to $8.69.
