Medtronic, Dell and 3 Stocks to Watch Heading Into Tuesday

With U.S. stock futures trading slightly lower this morning on Tuesday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

  • Wall Street expects Medtronic PLC (NYSE:MDT) to post quarterly earnings of $1.39 per share on revenue of $9.54 billion before the opening bell, according to data from Benzinga Pro. Medtronic shares rose 2.3% to $92.75 in after-hours trading.
  • Pyxis Tankers Inc (NASDAQ:XS) reported better-than-expected earnings for the second quarter. The company posted quarterly earnings of 27 cents per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 20 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $12.134 million, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $11.380 million. Pyxis Tankers shares climbed 12.9% to $6.05 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts are expecting Dell Technologies Inc. (NYSE:DELL) to post quarterly earnings of $4.91 per share on revenue of $44.95 million after the closing bell. Dell shares gained 0.7% to $459.00 in after-hours trading.

  • Cango Inc. (NYSE:CANG) posted downbeat results for the second quarter, after the closing bell on Monday. Cango shares dipped 8.4% to $2.19 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts expect Palo Alto Networks Inc. (NASDAQ:PANW) to post quarterly earnings of 98 cents per share on revenue of $3.35 billion after the closing bell. Palo Alto shares fell 0.2% to $381.49 in after-hours trading.
